Emma Mayer is a Canadian British Columbia based artist who completed her BFA at Emily Carr University of Art & Design in 2022. Mayer focuses on creating ceramic work that soothes her mental health and hopefully helps bring joy to those who also struggle with mental health issued around her.

Mayer’s work has been greatly influenced by childhood authors such as Enid Blyton, Rohld Dahl and Rudyard Kipling. Mayer’s work often shows soft whimsical characters which she hopes viewers connect and relate too while also reminding them of those childhood moments of magic that as adults we often forget about.
